Without a doubt
Hugo is the biggest and most versatile winner Australia has seen for some time. He
has been a tremendous ambassador for this reasonably rare breed and proven that IG's
CAN and WILL win at all levels of competitions, when they have what it takes!
He didn't do it just once, but several times and the show world took notice. Apart from
being a great performer, he is also a great producer, with several Champions already
to his name and more to come in the future, as he isn't retired from breeding yet.
Like the old cliché "like a fine wine" couldn't be more true in his case.
Having celebrated his 9th Birthday recently, he is looking better than ever. He will go
down in the history books for several reasons, BUT foremost he has been my loyal companion,
unconditional friend and guard dog.
He started off with several Baby In Groups and Baby In Shows, he then took his first
BEST IN GROUP at 6 1/2 mths of age. He was titled at 7 1/2 mths of age with another
BEST IN GROUP and it was all uphill from there. Highlights of his career include :

- Countless BEST IN GROUPS & even more RU BEST IN GROUPS
- Enough to fill a book of CLASSES IN GROUP / SHOW
He is the YOUNGEST MALE GRAND CHAMPION IG in Australia AND he gained his 2nd GRAND
title by 4 1/2 years of age.
He has taken 25 point CC's in FOUR States, at all major Exhibition Grounds: Brisbane,
Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
He has qualified for NSW Show Dogs of the Year several times and has qualified again
for 2005 with a Specialty BIS win during the year.
He has taken SIX consecutive BEST OF BREED awards at the Sighthound Specialty Show for
7 CC's total.
He has won under judges from EVERY continent in the World with countless renowned
Sighthound/Breed Specialists amongst them.
